Our first day of walking on the Aussie Camino – We start on the Great South West Walk.

The wind was extreme. The ocean roared as traversed the headland. We walked a long section on the beach which was – hard going.

We stopped for lunch our support vehicle and grew ready with lunch, chairs and a cuppa. Very welcome!

More beach walking then sand dunes and more headland.

Amazing scenery, saw an echidna, a kangaroo and so many wildflowers.

I can officially feel parts of my body I have never felt before.

Back to Victoria House for dinner and an early night.

Tomorrow repeat!

When are you back Sharise as I’m going to Sydney on the 15th, leaving back for home on the 20th.

Perhaps you will be away then?

Beth is staying here and Janet is looking after her. Frankly I’d like a wee break. Things are progressively getting worse.

I’m staying with Jeff Boyd and another school friend who is coming from NZ, and we are going to the rugby. But on one of the days in Sydney I would like to come and catch-up if possible.

    Stay safe🫣

    Lots of love Tony

I bet you’re hurting – sand is the worst but sounds like the scenery is at least fabulously distracting xx
