Day 27
Tonight I am staying in an Alburgue owned by young Spanish lady she has a small daughter and her Mum is here helping in the kitchen. We will have a Vegan meal this evening of Gazpacho, followed by a chickpea and vegetable soup with rice.
There is very cool modern Spanish music playing in the garden where all the pilgrims gather to enjoy a beer and watch our washing draw the little girl runs around and a large dog enjoys all the pats and attention.
Today’s walk was long and straight we had some shade from the Plane trees planted along the path. In the morning I walked with a young guy from Columbia, he is the first Columbian I have met on the Camino. He tells me only 180 are recorded as having walked a Camino last year.
As I leave the first town we visit this morning I see more of the amazing Storkes nests up in the church steeple, this one had chicks in it.
I collected this lovely sello, seal from a guy on the side of the road. You make a donation and you can choose a design. He has written in Spanish “the improbable guru”

Distance walked 20km
Elevation 850m

Song of the day; Bon Jovi, Livin on a Prayer, especially the chorus,
Whoa, we’re half way there
Whoa oh, livin’ on a prayer

Whoa oh, livin’ on a prayer
